Privacy policy

1. The short version

We collect the minimum we need to let you jump safely, take your booking, and honour a waiver if something goes wrong. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

2. What we collect

• Waivers: name, date of birth, email, phone, address, emergency contact, the names and birth dates of any children you sign for, and your signature.
• Bookings and purchases: name, contact details, session details, and payment confirmation. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
• Contact form: whatever you put in it.
• Marketing: your email address, if you opt in.
• CCTV: the park floor and entrances are recorded for safety and incident investigation.
• Website: standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages visited — used for security and troubleshooting.

3. Why we collect it

• To admit you and verify a valid waiver is on file.
• To take and manage your booking, party or membership.
• To contact your emergency contact and arrange treatment if you are injured.
• To investigate incidents, injuries and insurance claims.
• To send you marketing, if and only if you asked for it.

4. How long we keep it

Waivers are retained for the period our insurer and provincial limitation law require, which can be well beyond the period a guest is still visiting. Booking records are kept as long as tax law requires. CCTV is overwritten on a rolling schedule unless an incident is under review. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

5. Who we share it with

Only service providers who need it to do their job — our booking platform, payment processor, email provider and, where an incident occurs, our insurer and legal advisers. They are bound to use it only for that purpose. We disclose information to law enforcement only where legally required.

Some providers may store data outside Canada, in which case it is subject to the laws of that country.

6. Children

We collect children's information only from a parent or legal guardian, through the waiver or a booking. We do not knowingly collect it directly from a child.

7. Cookies

This site uses only what it needs to function. If analytics or a third-party booking widget is added, that provider may set its own cookies — you can block them in your browser without breaking the site's core pages.

8. Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask us to delete anything we are not legally obliged to keep, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email admin@arcadiumjumpnclimb.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your provincial commissioner.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm we will notify affected people and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
